So, I've put myself under pressure with a last-moment deadline. My daughter decided on a Minnie Mouse costume this year, on the grounds that her brother had a new costume, so she wanted one as well. My mother-in-law, whom adores buying them things said no, on the grounds that her Cinderella costume still fit, and was in good condition. I, being the mama, whom has not sewed any of their costumes since she(daughter) was three, and he(son) was 1, decided that yes, she will be Minnie Mouse this year. So, taking the years-old pattern that's been sitting in my bag o' patterns, I bought fabric and sundries for the costume. I also bought fabric for a cape, since I'm used to it being fucking freezing for Trick-or-Treat night.

The cape's done. Got it done in just over 4 hours, roughly. The dress should be about 6 hours or so. Most of it will be done today, with the finishing touches done tomorrow. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

I'll be posting pictures of the cape, at least. Soonish. Or whenever the whole thing is done.
